How do I use tty for the deaf? I know this is a stupid question but I am new to tty. Do I need regular analog phone service? I have always used sorenson vrs in the past never tty. I have a new ultratec superprint 4425 tty machine. Is that a good tty machine?

What is the number for sorenson vrs? I've looked through their website and can't find it. I want to call a Deaf friend but need to go through the interpreter and I can't just find the one simple number. Thanks

can you call a videophone using a webcam? i have a deaf friend who has a videophone, but im having trouble figuring out how to call him from my webcam. if possible i'd like a free service. I know about VRS, and thats not what im looking for. do i have to somehow get my webcam a phone number so he can call it? any help is appreciated :-) i am on a mac and using a panasonic camcorder as a webcam.

Can I use an ethernet to wifi adapter instead of all this ethernet cable? I got 150 feet of cat 5 from the router to my vrs (video relay service) phone for the deaf and hard of hearing. I have ran over it twice and chewed it up with a vacum and have triped over it 5 times. Its very dangerous having all this cable laying on the floor. My wifi is G. Will I need open wifi, which is less secure, or can I get an adapter that does wap and wep? Will the wifi slow down the video on my vrs phone or will I be fine?
