Has anyone gotten a response via a relay service for the deaf on a puppy they have for sale that is fishy?
This person contacted me through a relay messenger and asked for photo and more information. to his e-mail address. He claims to be wanting to buy the dog, but has claimed to need to have "his associate send not only the money for the dog, but shipping and additional money that I am to give to the shipper for "other" items they are to ship. Obviously this must be a scam and I don't know who to report it to.

- Why don't you just tell this person that you don't give dogs to people that you haven't even met; you have to check him out, as well as the environment that the dog would be living in.
- It is a common scam. Ignore it.
- Definitely a scam. Not sure who you report it to tho.
- This is a scam that made the rounds of sheltie breeders back in the spring. They will send the money order, you cash it and send the extra money on to the shipper, which they will insist on before they will come out. You never hear from either again and then about a month later, the bank will figure out that you have given them a counterfit money order and you are out all that money. Don't fall for it!!
