Video Relay Service

Where can I find some kind of free phone relay service for my deaf sister in the state of WA?

She has no comp no phone nothing and she has a son... Can some one please help???

2. She can use the relay service by dialing the number 711. That relay number works for all states. This page is the WA relay service: http://www.washingtonrelay.com/ She can apply for free TTY/phone equipment at this link: http://www1.dshs.wa.gov/hrsa/odhh/ted.shtml If she only gets a TTY and needs a phone, get it for her. A phone is really cheap at the store, not even for ten bucks. A phone line isn't expensive to have either. I don't make phone calls on my phone line, and I pay $17 a month for it. Also Sorensen Communications gives free video phone equipment only if one has a computer and fast internet service. I know she has no pc, but save it anyways for the near future if she ever gets one. 4. Well, if she wants a phone, you could contact any social services department in her area. Sometimes there are churches that will help out with buying equipment like a tty or videophone. Try the department of Job and family services. They might not have the resources to help, but they may be able to point you in the right direction. I don't know what your sister's financial status is, or medical status, but I know if her son has to have contact with a doctor or she does, (like for someone with asthma, ms, or other medical conditions) and she really needs a phone, some phone services would be free. I don't really understand your question though. How is she going to get the relay svc? Do you live near her? do you need to contact her? I'm not really sure if I'm giving you the correct type of info, but I hope it helps!
